We are currently seeking an energetic, customer service-oriented individual who has had previous experience working in a manufacturing, quality, warehouse, capacity, to work and assist with our off-site service teams.

Wage & Shifts:

  • $19.00/hr.
  • Monday to Friday – must be flexible to work all 3 shifts; days, afternoons, midnights
  • Mandatory weekends based on customer demands

 

Required qualifications for this job are:

  • Valid G license and must have reliable transportation; willing to drive across customer locations when required. Mileage will be paid.
  • Previous experience working in warehousing / automotive / manufacturing or quality related role – minimum 1-year experience.
  • Highschool graduate, with post secondary education preferred
  • Proficient at reading, writing and speaking English

 

Training & monitoring employees for the following tasks:

  • Work with customer products as outlined by job / work instruction
  • Inspect various parts for defects, compliance to specifications, and report on findings
  • Re-work parts or products depending on scope of work
  • Pack parts once work performed has been completed and appropriate documentation is complete

 

The Lead Hand will be responsible for learning the scope of all Hearn Industrial Services business units, and be responsible for the following tasks;

  • Work with the management team to understand customers needs, environments, and jobs as they arise
  • Ensure a clear understanding of the work process/scope, time frames and contingency planning where needed
  • Meet customer requirements to have jobs completed with accuracy and efficiency
  • Liason with the management team regarding job scope changes, timelines, employee performance and any concerns
  • Meet with and train new employees on specific customer site and job requirements as needed
  • Ensure all timesheets and attendance reports are completed accurately then submitted to Team Lead
  • Monitor staff while on assignments – will be required to travel from various customer sites ensuring processes are running smoothly and efficiently and team members are adequately supported for the job tasks at hand
