IMPORTANT NOTE:
- Must be capable of independent travel to and from the Canton facility to 3 additional Hearn facilities in Taylor and Romulus
- Access to reliable transportation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least 5 – 7 years experience in IT capacity role
- 5 year of experience working with LAN and WAN networking
- Must poses a post secondary diploma or equivalent in the field of Information Technology
- Ability to articulate complex issues related to computer use and instructional technologies
- Support of network and server infrastructure
- Planning and implementation of an appropriate Disaster Recovery Plan
- Ability to perform well in high pressure situations
- Possess sound financial and business insights
JOB FUNCTIONS:
The responsibilities and authorities for this position include, but are certainly not limited to:
- Network Infrastructure deployment and maintenance
- Configuration and troubleshooting of site-to-site VPN
- Server replication / backup management
- Hardware / Software deployment
- Server administration, management and deployment
- Production Systems maintenance and support
- Desktop / Laptop Support
- Plan for short- and long-term uses of technology that improves the efficient and effectiveness of the company.
- Provide strategic technology planning and deployment
- Assist with technology efforts at a plant level as needed
- Other duties as assigned
SHIFTS:
Shifts rotate monthly: Days: 6:00am to 3:00pm / Afternoons: 6:00pm to 3:00am
