Hearn Industrial Services in Windsor is currently seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Person who has an OPEN availability all year around. They must be able to drive between our 3 locations in the Windsor area.

Shifts & Wage

  • Days Shift; Monday to Friday. Hours may vary. Mandatory weekends when needed.
  • $25.00 to $28.00 per hour – Depending on experience
  • 3 Locations in the Windsor Area

 

Requirements, Skills & Abilities

  • Must have a Class G License
  • Ability and willingness to perform moderate physical tasks. Continuously moves about between areas and tasks:
  • Standing and walking up to 8 hours/day. Occasionally climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling (40%).
  • Carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 35-50 pounds
  • Must work on ladders and use medium and heavy hand tools.
  • Must have fine finger dexterity
  • Ability use common, electrical and tolerance measuring devices and equipment.
  • Good organizational and work planning skills
  • Must be self-sufficient in completing tasks
  • Strong communication and intrapersonal skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and individually
  • Disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic

  • Perform facilities related maintenance tasks including but not limited to repairs upgrades, painting and facility up keep, and installations as required
  • Perform & assist in documentation for equipment related work, PM schedules, spare parts list, etc.
  • Perform inventory and organization of equipment and facilities related spare parts
  • Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with shift supervisor/lead as to important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a fast-paced, deadline driven design & build team
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety protocols including, but not limited to, Lock Out/Tag Out programs, etc.
  • Other duties may be assigned
