Our Client PLASMAN Windsor 1 Manufacturing is currently seeking an Industrial Cleaner. The Industrial cleaner maintains the general appearance and overall cleanliness of the plant, equipment, production systems, and work areas on an as needed basis.
Wage & Shifts
- $21.50 per hour
- Must be able to work rotational shifts;
- Days; 6:40am to 2:50pm
- Afternoons; 2:40pm to 10:50pm
Required Skills
- Must have 3 years of industrial cleaning experience
- Must have 3 years Forklift experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Requires additional safety training upon hire and involves physically demanding work
- Proficient as speaking, writing, reading and comprehending English
Education Requirement
- Must be able to provide proof of Secondary Education -Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent
Responsibilities
- Cleaning injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment
- Cleaning overhead pipes, plant walls, beams, conveyors, and workstations
- Performing general housekeeping duties in all areas of the plant
- General housekeeping duties in outdoor common areas when required
- Operate and maintain an automatic floor cleaner
- Operate the lift/boom for cleaning of plant walls, beams, etc.
- Clean dust, grease, resin and oil from injection molding machines
- Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties such as snow removal, changing light bulbs, changing furnace filters etc.
- Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor and management team
