Building Maintenance Operator

In this vital role, you’ll be the backbone of our building’s operational excellence, ensuring all systems run smoothly and safely. Your proactive approach will keep our environment functional, comfortable, and compliant, supporting the productivity and safety of everyone on site. . Approximately 30 hours per week/shift work and weekends.

Wage -$20.00 dollars per hour

Duties

• Knowledge of General building maintenance.
• Day-to-day operation of the buildings and parking lots.
• Must be able to conduct minor repair work’
• Knowledge of building fire and security system.
• Completing monthly testing of fire and safety equipment’
• Replacing lamps and ballasts as needed in tenant / common area.
• Able to climb ladders and use small tools if needed’
• Preform minor routine maintenance and clean ups around property
• Daily clean ups of parking lots and around buildings.
• Responsible for regular maintenance vacant units, mechanical rooms, and Utility rooms.
• Able to lift heavy equipment and supplies (up to 50lbs)
• Trouble shooting building system / Pay & Display parking machines.
• Completing daily building log books and log entries.
• Deal with tenant concerns in a professional manner in keeping with Landlord’s policies
• and procedures.
• Summer Maintenance – grass cutting, trimming and exterior clean ups etc.
• Winter Maintenance – salting and clearing snow around the building entrances and sidewalks, corridors.
• respond in a timely fashion.

Requirements

Self- starter, organized and multi- tasking and hands on approach

Good Communication Skills.

Must be able to work with others in same environment and respectful to co-workers

and a team player

Must be able to work approximately 30 hours per week/shift work and weekends.

Must be able to deal with tenant concerns with a customer service approach and

Willing to learn, have positive attitude and follow all health safety procedures at all times

Job consists of physical demands standing, bending, handle material manually and

repetitive motion and walking.

Must have safety shoes, proper work attire and must have a police clearance

Work environment indoor and outside exposed to weather, various temperatures,

sound and noise.

Able to lift heavy equipment and supplies (up to 50lbs)

Building Operator must complete all duties but not limited as assigned by Property

Manager.

Duties included but not limited to listed work above.
