As a Shift Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a shift from start to finish. Your role will involve coordinating with supervisors, shipping/receiving and other team members, ensuring quality control, and maintaining production schedules.
Wage & Shifts:
- $29.00 to $33.00 per hour – depending on experience
- C-Shift; Friday and Saturday: 6:00am to 4:30pm & Sunday and Monday: 6:00pm to 4:30am
- Can be flexible in scheduling, adhering to customer demands, working overtime as needed
Required Skills & Abilities:
- 3 – 5 years of experience; supervisory, warehouse, quality control, Microsoft Excel, and warehouse management systems
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and the ability to learn warehouse management system
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Must be self-starter and be able to work independently with integrity
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
- Proficient at speaking, writing, reading and comprehending English
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Key decision maker for the off-shift supporting the entire operation
- Responsible for all employees and processes during the off-shift
- Responsible for managing supervisors and adhering to the required tasks
- Overall responsibility for shipping and receiving departments on the off-shift
- Employee engagement, communication and training for employees on your shift
- General supervision – tasks and behaviors
- Responsible to cover supervisors’ duties in event of vacation, absences, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
