Important Details:
This position requires a lot of physical stamina as you will be standing and walking a lot (Over 10,000 steps per day) and lifting up to 30 pounds repetitively through the shift.
You may be bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and overhead reaching.
This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
- Experience operating a hoist is an asset
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is essential.
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
- Proficient at speaking, writing, reading and comprehending English.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools as needed for assembly tasks.
- Assemble products on the assembly line according to specifications and quality standards.
- Fabricate components as required for production processes.
- Assist in the movement of materials and products within the factory or warehouse setting.
- Ensure that work areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
