We are looking for an IT Manager to strengthen the organization’s technology foundation, drive forward-looking initiatives, and build a disciplined, scalable IT department.
This role blends strategic thinking with operational accountability, with a strong emphasis on system reliability, failover planning, security and continuous improvement in a 24/7 production environment.
Salary
- $90,000 per year
Qualifications
- 10+ years in IT leadership within automotive, manufacturing, or logistics (3PL preferred)
- Strong experience with:
- High-availability systems and failover architecture
- Implementing monitoring and alerting to drive proactive vs reactive support
- Drive accountability, documentation, and structured execution across the team
- Proven experience building or restructuring IT teams
- Experience working in 24/7 production environments
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, applications, and operational workflows
- Proficient at speaking, writing, reading and comprehending English
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Department Development
- Partner with senior IT leadership to define and execute IT strategy
- Evaluate current IT structure and recommend improvements to scale operations
- Build a forward-looking roadmap aligned with business growth and customer demands
- Introduce best practices in IT governance, structure, and accountability
High Availability & Infrastructure Resilience
- Design and implement robust failover and disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure high availability of critical systems
- Identify single points of failure and eliminate operational risks
- Lead business continuity planning and testing
- Implement server failover, database replication and disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure internet redundancy (dual ISP), firewall/switch failover, and network segmentation (VLANs)
- Oversee VPN architecture (site-to-site and remote access) for secure, stable connectivity
- Identify and eliminate single points of failure across all critical systems
Technology Evaluation & Innovation
- Research and evaluate new technologies to improve operations and reporting
- Support adoption of scalable solutions (cloud, hybrid infrastructure, etc.)
Operational Excellence & Discipline
- Establish and enforce standards across IT operations and support
- Improve incident management, change control, and deployment practices
- Introduce metrics and reporting for system performance and team effectiveness
- Drive a culture of accountability and structured execution
24/7 Support Model & Organizational Design
- Design an IT organization that supports continuous operations across all shifts
- Ensure proper layering between support and leadership roles
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths
Collaboration & Business Alignment
- Work closely with Operations and Leadership teams
- Ensure IT is tightly aligned with production and customer requirements
- Support customer audits and compliance
