Job description
We are currently seeking an energetic, customer service oriented individuals who have previous experience working in a manufacturing / quality / warehouse / supervision capacity, on our afternoon shift to work proactively with out customers to lead service teams. Our service teams are contracted to perform jobs as outlined by the work instruction. This may include:
· inspecting various parts for defects, ensuring compliance to specifications, and report on findings;
· re-work parts or products depending on scope of work – this might involve the use of small hand tools;
· pack and ship parts once work performed has been completed and appropriate documentation is complete.
Our team lead is responsible for learning the scope of the job, and ensure all team members are trained, and working to specification. Key job duties include:
· work with clients to understand the needs of the job, environment, and ensure compliance to specifications; ensure all team members are trained in site specific requirements, safety expectations and protocols and job expectations.
· ensure a clear understanding of the work process/scope, time frames and contingency planning where needed; meet customer requirements to have jobs completed with accuracy and efficiency;
· meet with and train new employees on specific customer site and job requirements as needed;
· ensure all time and attendance reports are completed by employees and authorized, submitted on a daily basis;
· oversee staff while on assignments – may be required to travel from various customer sites ensuring processes are running smoothly and efficiently and team members are adequately supported for the job tasks at hand;
· liaise with the customer and supervisors if concerns or issues arise that cannot be resolved at team leader level;
Required qualifications for this job are:
· Minimum 1 year prior experience working in a warehousing, automotive, manufacturing or quality related role.
· High school graduate, with post secondary education preferred.
· Previous supervisory experience
· valid G license and reliable transportation a must, and must also be willing to drive to customer locations when required (mileage compensated);
· able to work day and afternoon shifts and be on call if necessary
· must have internet access from home
· cell phone to be provided
Benefits available after 90 day probationary period.
